St. George Players is a non-profit organization that has been established to give everyone an opportunity to learn an instrument and experience the joy of playing with others in a band, orchestra or ensemble. Our aim has always been to provide the tools that will allow people in the St. George area to develop their instrumental music skills and raise the community's understanding and appreciation of high quality classical music. After 10 years, our ultimate aim of making the St. George area a centre of musical excellence is finally starting to be realized.

The venue

Our bands, orchestras and ensembles rehearse on Saturday afternoons, using the facilities of a local Hurstville high school. String and wind ensembles for the advanced players usually rehearse in Oatley where individual lessons are also available.
